Cooler conditions have seen the trout move from deep in the lake closer to the surface. Good numbers of trout have been surface feeding throughout the day, especially in dull overcast conditions.
Mini lures, nymphs, buzzers and dries fished with floating lines have been successful.
Mr Twine, of Liskeard, took a good five fish bag of 11lb 2oz on a Dawsons Olive. The largest rainbow weighed in at 3lb 2oz.
Mr Dexter, of Pensilva, took five fish for 10lb 8oz fishing with a Montana Nymph and a Dawsons Olive.
Mr, Harrington, of Rilla Mill, landed five rainbows for 10lb 8oz fishing a Montana and a Dawsons Olive.
