In favourable conditions trout have been taken close to the surface with floating and intermediate lines being most effective fished with weighted nymphs and mini lures.
Mr Twine, of Liskeard, landed five good rainbows for 10lb 2oz fishing a Dawsons Olive and a mini Cat’s Whisker.
Mr Carr, of Liskeard, landed five rainbows for 10lb fishing a Damsel Nymph, lead head Cat and a Minky.
Mr Prout, of Liskeard, landed seven rainbows for 13lb 8oz fishing a mini Olive Snake.
