On the warmer days plenty of trout have been surface feeding on good hatches of buzzers.
In cooler conditions trout have been caught deeper in the lake with boobies, mini lures and nymphs fished with sinking and intermediate lines.
Mr Elphick, of Lostwithiel, landed five good rainbows for 10lb 11oz. The largest trout tipped the scales at 3lb 3oz. The bag was taken on a Black Booby.
Mr Twine, of Liskeard, landed four good rainbows for 8lb 8oz fishing a Cat’s Whisker.
