On the warm overcast days plenty of trout have been surface feeding on good hatches of buzzers.
In these conditions trout have been caught with floating lines fished with buzzers, small nymphs and dry flies.
In brighter conditions fish have been deeper and caught with sinking lines.
Mr Richardson, of Launceston, landed a good six fish bag for 13 lb 2 Oz. The largest rainbow tipped the scales at 3 lb 1 Oz and the bag was taken on a mini orange Cats whisker.
The largest rainbow of the month at 4 lb was taken by Mr Loader, of Bude, and caught on a black and green buzzer.
