September / October 2019 Fishing Report

Cooler conditions have improved numbers of trout feeding with plenty of fish surface feeding to emerging buzzers. Fresh water shrimp are also in abundance.
Floating lines with a lengthy leader fished with weighted nymphs or mini lures have been most effective.

Mr. M. Damerall, of St. Austell, landed a good six fish bag for 12lb 8oz with the largest rainbow tipping the scales at 3lb. The bag was caught on a Dawsons Olive.
Mr. R. Prout, of Pensilva, landed five rainbows for 9lb 5oz fishing with a Damsel Nimph.
