The warmer overcast days have had good hatches of buzzers with good number of trout surface feeding.
In these conditions floating lines fished with mini lures, nymphs and buzzers have been most productive.
On the cold bright days fish have been taken deeper in the lake with weighted nymphs and mini lures.
The largest trout of the month was taken by Mr Twine, of Liskeard, who landed a good 3lb 6oz fis on a Cat’s Whisker.
On another visit to the fishery Mr Twine weighed in six fish for 12lb 10oz fishing buzzers.
Mr Loader, of Bude, landed six good rainbows for 12lb fishing mini lures.
