On the warm overcast days plenty of trout have been surface feeding on hatching buzzers. On these days floating lines fished with buzzers, nymphs, dries and mini lures have been most productive.
In colder brighter conditions sinking lines fished with mini lures and nymphs have been successful.
The largest trout of the month was taken by Mr Harvey, of Plymouth, who landed a good 9lb rainbow on a blue flash Damsel nymph.
Mr Terry, of Plymouth, landed four rainbows for 9lb 8oz fishing mini lures.
Mr Twine, of Liskeard, landed five rainbows for 8lb 14oz fishing buzzers.
