April and now into May has had many prolific hatches of insects with plenty of trout surface feeding especially on the warm overcast days.
In bright conditions trout have been caught deeper in the lake.
Mr Wilton, of Holsworthy, landed a good brace for 5lb 12oz fishing dry flies. The largest rainbow tipped the scales at 4lb.
Mr Jewel, of Launceston landed a good eight fish bag for 15lb fishing an orange Cat’s Whisker.
Mr White, of Liskeard, landed a five fish bag for 10lb on a Damsel Nymph.
