A reduction of insect life due to the cooler damp conditions has inevitably had an affect on the fish surface feeding.
Plenty of trout have still been taken subsurface using floating and intermediate lines fished with weighted nymphs, buzzers and mini lures.
Mr White, of Liskeard, landed the largest rainbow of the month at 4lb 4oz. His six fish bag weighed 13lb 8oz and was taken on a weighted Damsel Nymph.
Mr Little, of St Mawes, landed five fish for 13lb fishing buzzers.
Mr Rose, of Liskeard, landed four rainbows for 11lb 8oz on a red nymph. The largest rainbow tipped the scales at 4lb.
