Good sport has been had by all anglers visiting the fishery.
Trout have been feeding close to or on the surface and therefore floating lines have been most productive fished with a variety of flies.
The largest rainbow this month was taken by Mr McGibbon, of Warwickshire, who landed a good 3lb 8oz rainbow fishing a black fry pattern. Mr McGibbon also took a second rainbow for a brace weighing 5lb 8oz.
Mr Elphick, of Lostwithiel, landed eight good rainbows for 16lb fishing a white booby just below the surface.
Also, weighing in a good eight fish bag was Mr Jewell, of Launceston. The eight fish bag tipped the scales at 16lb 4oz and was taken on an olive humongous.
